In a digital article interview, Donna was asked what important lessons her first mentor taught her about being a winemaker, outside of the technical aspects.

"One of the biggest lessons I took away was staying authentic in who I am and what my brand represents. Everyone’s story is unique in our experiences, but you never know who you may inspire just by telling your story. I am grateful to have the opportunity to share who I am on so many platforms and have others on my journey with and beside me."

Donna has always encouraged others to aspire to pursue their true passions.  It is also about support and the circle you have around you.  Don't be afraid to share your journey with anyone who will listen, you never know who you will inspire.
