The Stoney Wines Family 🍷

Pairing: Stoney Wines’ Bubbly Rosé - Norma Jean (Syrah Rosé)

Why This Pairing Works: The tart cranberry sauce mirrors the wine’s crisp acidity, while the creamy brie softens the flavors, creating a harmonious blend. The rosemary and orange zest enhance the aromatic qualities of the wine, making this an elegant yet simple holiday treat.

Festive Cranberry and Brie Puff Pastry Bites

Ingredients (Makes 12 Bites):

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz brie cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 3 Tbsp cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

  Instructions:

  1. Prep the Puff Pastry: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 12 equal squares.
  2. Assemble the Bites: Place each square into a mini muffin tin, gently pressing the pastry down to form cups. Add a cube of brie into each cup.
  3. Add the Cranberry Topping: Top the brie with about 1/2 teaspoon of cranberry sauce. Sprinkle with a pinch of orange zest and a hint of rosemary for a festive touch.
  4. Egg Wash: Brush the edges of the puff pastry with the beaten egg to create a golden, flaky crust.
  5. Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden and puffed.
  6. Serve: Let cool slightly before serving.

Cheers to delicious pairings & joyous gatherings! 🥂
